Frozen coulours need advice

Want to spec/ order M6 with competition packige ( as soon as possible) to replace courant m5f10

Was at the Dealer an he told me that 3 frozen coulours are available.
Frozen white
Frozen grey and
Frozen silver

I would like to go for frozen silver, but i have the impression that there is a frozen Silverstone as well. If i compare the frozen Silver of the M6 gc presented in geneva or other places, it looks more like frozen silverstone, but called frozen Silver, on the other hand i see some M3 in frozen silver witch looks quit a bit more silver than the " frozen silver" of the M6 gc...
Bit confused, can abload some pics tomorrow, if that helps to explain.
Any one idees...

I have only seen this one color. I believe it is called Frozen Silver but it sure looks like Frozen Silverstone II in some angles and light. Here is an M6 coupe from last fall and the new M6 Gran Coupe I believe is the same color.

Frozen Silver is Silverstone II with a flat clear coat. It looks different depending on the lighting. Gorgeous color IMHO but I'm biased ;-)

it is not a decision against m5 but more for the m6. When i order m5 f10 beginning of 2012, the m6 coupe wasnt available till fall, but i wanted a new daily driver. So i knew from the beginning that i wouldnt keep long the m5. As the rumor was that the competition packig would soon be available i still waited. I think in the next 2 weeks it should be possilbe to order it, for a late July production, including the new idrive touch, so thats what i will do immediately. (according to infos of my dealer)

my preference to the m6 over m5: outiside looks, interiour feel (more luxury), sportier ride in combination with lower center of gravity, the stiffer setup from the performance package.

i think it all depends on your personal taste

Frozen Silver's base is Silverstone Metallic II

Frozen Polar Silver is the old E46 M3 Titanium Silver (TiAg) base. Frozen Polar Silver was delivered with the E90 M3 CRT. You have to get an allocation for it to be built, your dealer may be able to help.

Frozen Silver doesn't shine like Silverstone b/c it doesn't have the gloss finish. But the blue hue is still present. As a Silverstone owner, I can tell you the color changes under the lighting conditions. In daylight, it appears blue, in the dark garage or at night, it looks silver.

Here are some pics that show the color variation in Silverstone all due to camera quality and lighting:
