M6 ED - from dealer allocation or not?

I am considering ED for a 2014 M6 vert. Before approaching a dealer, I would like to know if it will be out of the dealer's allocation. Also, anyone out there with experience with ED from SoFl dealers? Vista? Braman?

Thanks hinkley! I thought so, but was confused reading some old posts there hat the M cars were different and were from dealer' allocation. Now, the next is to find the right dealer. Any opinions on using one dealer (could be anywhere) for the ED and other dealer(s) (should be nearby) for service?

I thought M5 and M6 EDs are from dealer allocation.

Last year for one month only M5s were not from dealer allocation but then they changed it. I bought mine during that window and paid $1000 over ED invoice.

I want to buy an M6GC but am having a tough time getting a similar deal.

I haven't heard of any change and thought the cars are still not from dealer allocation.

I bought my M5 a few weeks ago at US invoice and then received more than $2k in additional discounts from BMW financial services. Wait a few more months for the GC and you'll probably save at least $5K off today's best price.

I've found most dealers in my area are very well versed on the ED program. BMW has it down to typical German precision (I've done five!). So I usually shop for the best price in the area and for my last three BMWs, that has not been the closest dealership. But I always have service done there without a problem.

Did you manage to close a deal? Let me know which dealer and where you ended up?

Have you tried Pembroke BMW?
I bought my M6 from there last year close to invoice when others were only discounting $2000-$3000.

I think you will find both M5 and M6 ED's now come from dealer's allocations. So, depending on a lot of things your ability to get an ED invoice + deal is less likely than it was last year.

Mossy BMW of Vista is a great dealer. They gave me the best deal on my F13 M6 and I tried very dealer on the west coast. Their M cars are all kept inside the showroom and have like no miles.
I'm very happy with them

Ordered our ED 2013 M6 convertible in Sakhir Orange from Vista Coconut Creek last fall. Picked up in Munich last September. Believe we got one of the first 2013 in this color. Vista was very good and dealer allocation was not affected. Got a nice discount also since we bought 12 BMW's from them. Vista tacks on a premium on their M6's. Was a great experience. Go for it.
