BPC 650i (F12, F13) & 650i GC (F06) DME Tuning - +127 WHP / +117 WTQ Gain!

Hey guys,

I know a few of you were looking at DME tuning options for the N63TU so I wanted to share this with you.

Here are some highlights of our tune, and what this means for you as a driver.
- We have updated parameters such as boost, fuel & timing maps to optimise power delivery at all points throughout the powerband.
- The Valvetronic Maps have been adjusted for better part and wide open throttle response, giving a more direct feel with the car.
- Exhaust valves are open all the time in sport and sport + modes, giving the car a sporty sound while performance driving yet the ability to quiet it back down again in normal driving modes.
- Rev limiters are the same unless requested to be bumped to 7200rpm
- Cold start and cat disable on stage 2 off road tune can be enabled
- Speed limiter is removed
- If requested, we can unlock for bootmod 3

Supported Models
2013 - 2016 750i 750li (F01, F02)
2013 - 2018 650i (F12, F13) & 650i grand coupe (F06)
2013 - 2017 550i & 550i GT (F10)
2013 - 2018 X5 5.0 (F15)

FACTORY
348 WHP / 397 WTQ

Stage I
475 WHP / 514 QTQ
+127 WHP / +117 WTQ Gain over factory

DME Tuning Procedure

This vehicle is tuned by Bench flashing the DME only. This requires the DME to be removed, and sent in for software modification and mailed back.

If you are interested in purchasing a tune from us, please visit our website to order:

If you have any questions you may also PM me and I'll be sure to answer back. Thank you,

John

Those are great numbers! what supporting mods are required for that tune?

Do you have a tune for upgraded turbos for those looking to go with bigger turbos now or replacing them after they fail?

This is actually on a completely stock car with no modifications.

We can custom tune a setup for you with bigger turbo's, we would just need to have the car here to make adjustments depending on which turbo's you're using. I don't believe we've done a N63TU with upgraded turbo's but its fairly similar to the S63TU which we've done a TON of tuning on with big turbo's. We actually have Ruben's 800+whp M5 on the Dyno today for some more tuning.

That works well for people within a reasonable distance of you. Would love to see a turbo and canned tune package available - based on the Alpina or Pure turbos!

NY isnt too far I'll actually be there tomorrow morning for a trip!

We would love to see what a N63TU could do with upgraded turbo's. It would probably hurt some M5 owners feelings for sure. At least a stock M5...

where in NY? You could always come up and do tunes for a day! some companies have done that in the past I believe.

NY is a BIG state, I'm a long way from NYC.

I'd love to see what the N63tu can do as well! Even on moderate boost the numbers should be really impressive!

How many lbs of boost are you using on your stock tune?

I'm on a tight schedule unfortunately or else I would definitely come say hello! I'm visiting some family in Long Island / Riverhead for the weekend.

Let me check with Bob on the specific boost and I'll get back to you on that one.

Having just moved from Texas, now THAT is a big state! You can drive for 6 hours and only get to the nearest City in some cases.

Our DME tune handles boost control strategies and the maps that are altered do much more than the JB4, so in that case, you would ONLY need the re-flash.

The JB4 should be taken off, but if you can find a way... if could be left on as long as all of the settings were zero'd out and not altering any parameters. Some people like to use it to monitor boost and that sort of thing. You just don't want a back end flash and a JB4 both altering the same parameters causing extreme timing or fueling changes.

So $1200 gets you an Extra 127 HP on the 650x GC?

Bring back a thread from the dead.

John, is this mod still available. You did some tuning on my naturally aspirated 2005 545i a while back, and I was impressed with the little you got out of that.

I now have a 2015 650i GC that I would love to add some power to. If you see this please respond. I'd love to see what you guys can do.

actually, looking at the pictures I think I was up there when you had that on the dyno. Joshua said you were getting some good power out of it. It's the right time-frame.

After getting in touch with Bimmer performance center, they no longer offer engine tuning.

So get bm3 and flash it yourself. Very easy to do.

Yes, I know/ I was interested in the numbers without having to do downpipes. Plus I've had them do previous cars for me, and they did great work.

Just disappointed that they no longer offer the service. But with bm3 being available it probably isn't worth it for them.
