What's your top speed?

Okay so they claim the car is limited to 155mph but I've done 165?

You are asking for trouble by starting this thread, and I in turn, asking for trouble by jumping in on this... but here goes.

My top speed was looking at 153 mph on my HUD in my 650 GC. I did not have the pedal to the floor, and she definitely felt like she could do more if I went full throttle.

I must say that even at 153 mph in Sport Mode, this BMW feels as comfortable as if she was only doing 80 mph... what an amazing machine.

Sorry, I do troll through the M6 Section from time to time only bcause I think the Current M6 GC is an incredible toy to have... I just can't afford one...

Still, I do enjoy using either of my 2 BMWs to go fast!! lol

Maybe in a couple years, when it's time to move out of the GC, I will start shopping for my first ///M car...

Still surprised not more posts here on top speeds... I can't imagine people spending money on an M6, and not giving it the "test"....

Ehhh with minor mods u can read m6 speeds. With the v8 twin turbo and yes I bought my m6 for sheer purpose of beating the living crap out of it.

I hear that! With those lovely, smooth, shiney, wide HWYs you guys have in FL, I would get into a lot of trouble if I were driving what you are driving... the roads in the NYC area reduce driving pleasure significantly.

165 speedo or GPS? According to BMW the speedo can be high by up to 10%.

HUD says 165 before the limiter same as Chris Harris does in the video. It doesn't cut throttle just wont go any faster without a chip or tune to remove

Ive only got up to 130 so far, but the thing really feels like its nothing...In my 335 I feel like the car is almost gonna brake apart at that speed.

I also just can not afford a m6gc... drive a poor 650gc only
And we do not have nice police officers here, uncountable spped traps here in Ontario Canada.
Highest speed i have done so far is 235 km/hr at speedo,
When i had my old x6, i have done 200km/hr and the car felt almost break apart
