It seems like its all 6, all the time, recently doesn't in? Its true, we've been showing alot of 6-Series pictures recently, but thats because BMW has been kind enough to parade around its new big coupe in a few different colors and trims. To recap, the coupe was recently spotted in Vermillion Red and Deep Sea Blue.

Now what we have before us is the new Coupe in Alpine White, with standard body trim, ie. no M-Sport. This appears to be the top of the class 650i, given away by its dual square exhausts out the rear and large 19 or 20" alloy wheels, which are unbelievable. The beautifully proportioned car is everything you would expect it to be on the heels of the officially released Cabrio version.

Notably, this car was spotted with a similar E63 Alpine White 6-Series in tow which to my eye really highlights the differences between the cars. The new 6 simply sits lower and wider with a much more svellte roof and bodyline. The new 6ers 'face' is also much tighter in design when looking at it next to the older car that has always had a bit of a pug face, which now looks a bit tired too.

All in all, this car should be a huge success for BMW, that is depending on the pricing of the coupe. The new coupe is expected to make its first official public debut at the Geneva autoshow this march, but expect some official photos to make their way onto the internet before then.

I think the back of the new one looks particularly nice.
But it all honesty, the E63 is quite the looker too!

Both beautiful!

The new 6 hides its bloat well...Only when compared to the prev. gen. is it evident that it's a little bigger.

New vs Old

Height: 54.1 / 54.1
Width: 73 / 73
Length: 189.8 / 190.2
Wheelbase: 109.5 / 109.4

It´s just the design which makes it look bigger when it´s the same size but shorter.

It definitely needs a license plate up front... too much space between the grills and the front fascia... I never liked the old 6 in AW

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Seeing these pictures makes me really like the new 6. The good thing about the current 6 is that it's bold and stands out with a lot of presence. I also think the facelift tidies up the rear end and I think the car overall looks great.

However, this new model has a much better front. The current 6 has a bunch of random shapes making up the front end. Also, the car overall has so much more flow and looks smoother. The only thing I worry about is that it might lose that bold look the current 6 has.

LOL. I love comments like that.

This is not meant to compete with the RS5. They have nothing to do with each other. Nothing AT ALL!

The RS5 is still in line with the M3, performance-wise. They just put a stupid price tag on it for some reason.

And believe me, when the F12 M6 comes out, you would NOT take an RS5 over that.
