AC Schnitzer got a tune that moves up the limit to 300km/hr.
If you want it completely removed, I recommend waiting for Dinan to come up with something, shouldn't take long, it's in development.

In Germany the M Drivers package got cheaper. In 2009 it was something above 2000,- €, now I pay 1200,- incl. tax.
The fastest speed with my E64 on an early sunday morning on the Autobahn (I live in Germany) was 334 km/h (speedometer) which must be close to the 305 km/h limit. Although the car felt quite stable at that speed I had a feeling I should not do this every day. On the other hand: in times where Audi diesels easily do 250 km/h the M drivers package was a must have option again for me. |

Yeah, typical lol. Plus the tune will be weak if it's like the past ones.

It's actually at 320km/h. Independently verified at Nardo. And the reason it stopped at 320 was a second limiter in the transmission set at 320... I believe they are working on that one as well!

But the Schnitzer tune claims to need the M Drivers Pack (see on their website)....much the same as Manhart. So, if you don't have M Drivers pack, it seems no tune can remove the ridiculous 155mph limiter (which allows 169/170 to be arched on the speedo).
I too want the limiter removed as I travel to Germany enough times to make it worthwhile but nobody can do it. I'm very frustrated that BMW UK won't allow customers who prepared to pay for the M Drivers Pack to make their own choice. I could have bought any number of other cars for similar money that don't come with such restrictions! |

Hi - If you have the M Driver's package on your car and the speed limiter was removed, would love to speak with you. I would like to take a dump of your files and study the differences with a US spec'ed F06/12/13 with the limiter. This probably isn't possible with coding but it's worth a shot. - |

No limit
My '13 M6 was limited at I believe 155.
However, I took my '14 M6 GC CP this past weekend at 162 without a problem. I didn't want to go any faster but I believe I could've. Or does the CP remove the limit? Unless it is limited at a higher speed? |
