A manual in the Grand Coupe is surprising.

I find it interesting that the 343M-GC and 433M wheels are narrower at the rears than the coupe.

F12 M6 343M wheels:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...43&hg=36&fg=15

Also, 9250 for CCB's with sliding single piston binders in the rear. You would think BMW would throw in a fixed 2-pot at least for close to 10K.

No idea why a while back so many people thought it was going to cost more than the M6 Convertible. I've always been saying it would fall right between the Coupe and Convertible just like the regular 6GC does.

Wow, I didn't expect there to be a manual transmission to be offered in the Gran Coupe. I love that BMW is listening to enthusiasts and still giving us a choice.

So loaded (without Ceramic brakes) its $130K. Add some extended leather and ceramic brakes and we are $145K-$150K.

I really like the M6GC, but would take a Panamera 4S with lots of options at those prices.

now if I had $115K-$120K to spend but also would like to save a few grand, the CLS63 AMG is a no brainer. Sure the outside styling needs some help, but for $20K I could look past that,

My question is, what does this mean for the future M4GC? Are we going to be looking at $90K fully loaded? for an I6 engine, yikes! Porsche needs to release the PAJUN ASAP.

I agree, but in forums everyone is screaming for manual transmissions. It has already been announced that the net 5 series, including the M5, will be automatic only. I suspect the same will be true for the 6 series.

Dual clutch automatics simply blow manual transmissions away. (Flame retardant suit on...)

Interesting that they would provide a MT option on the GC but not on the coupe where it would make a lot more sense...

bmw pricing is getting out of hand. do they just throw a number out there and go "im sure that will be fine"

$5K extra for a heated steering wheel and other accessories that at this level should be standard.

Concerning performance, that they do, however it comes at a price as DCT's are also heavier and add much more complexity. Many of us don't care that the performance blows manual transmissions away though. The overall involvement and control can not be rivaled by a DCT, which is why many of use still prefer a traditional manual.

How else is BMW going to control the over populated, over common and almost watered-down brand?
BMW's are becoming much too common. I've been screaming this for a while. They're everywhere. I know BMW is no Ferrari or Lamborghini but everyone and their mama has one, i see almost 25 to 30 F10's on my way to work. E90's? forget it, every other car is a f**king E90. It feels so good when i see a an Audi, Honda or Toyota. SERIOUSLY!! (this is not a joke).

So i guess BMW can continue increasing their price to give their brand some uniqueness.

but the //M6 GC is still better looking than Panamera, CLS or the awful A7.

they are watered down? BMW has so many different model engines in Europe that we dont even get to keep the price up in the states.. examples: 1er hatch, 316, 318, 320 i/d variations. Im okay with the price, but the standard feature list sucks compared to audi/lexus/mercedes. you would think a luxury sedan would have leather standard. heck, even an optima has leather standard now.

The price list that Jason posted shows a manual available on all the M6 models from March production. That had been rumored for a while.

Not all leathers are created equally (merino versus nappa). Moreover, the "standard" leather coverage on these M6's, I'm sure, is much greater than that of the standard leather of the Kia.

Options lists on almost any of the lux German cars can get pricey. Be thankful this is not Porsche.
