Question for those who have a front license plate

Does the license plate bracket mount to the front bumper cover with screws? Do holes need to be drilled in a visible part of the bumper to mount it, or are the screw holes hidden in the lower grill area? Thanks!

yes it screws into the bumper - yes the screw holes will be visible if you remove the plate bracket

that is do-able, but potentially interferes with proximity sensors.

If you leave the plate on, it hides the holes.

Seriously guys..it is like my Grandma's chairs covered in plastic. The look terrible year round, in the hope that someday, when you take that plastic off, it is perfect. Just like an off set plate sticking out of some 3rd part tow hook.

In short, if a plate is required up front, put it on.

I use the tow hook to get fix-it-tickets written off and immediately take it off as I agree it looks horrible. I do not like the look of the front plate, and although I am for the most part a law abiding citizen, I refuse to punch holes on the bumper to place a useless front plate. This is totally a preference thing and these are just suggestions, so if you like the front plate, put it on, if you don't don't, just know there are options available.

Cheers
