not bashing or anything but i think that still cant keep up to the 2012 545hp gtr(stock)

veyron 1million vs gtr 90-100k

thats just my opinion. i would not get myself a gtr though.

Agreed^^^^^ AC Scnhitzers cars are hideous! I've heard from a BMW tech that the DCT's can't hold much power, we are waiting on parts for our soon to be 800hp X5M, and those standard granny's can hold up to 1000hp

The GTR and the M6GC are about as different as the price between the GTR and the Veyron. i.e very different. Don't know why anyone would compare them.

I'm sorry but I'm getting tired of everything on four wheels being compared to the GTR...

Couldn't say it any better. BMW doesn't use the GTR as their benchmark when testing. Creates their own benchmark.

I agree. The GTR is on another level performance wise. I wonder if these tuned M5's and M6's are having traction issues? That's a lot of power going through just the rear wheels.

All of the petrol turbo BMW motors appear to be underrated. I wonder if BMW did this for regulatory reasons (insurance and horsepower taxes) or if all these motors have a built in overboost mode that lasts long enough to spin up a rear wheel dyno roller.

About 30 years ago when horsepower ratings started rising due to the implementation of common rail port fuel injection many manufacturers were rating engines at 300hp because they were afraid of a high performance insurance surcharge. That went on for a few years and then passed.

Dis you miss the part where they pushed 665 HP out of the car? Regardless of the "styling" you are discrediting the power gain because of the way it looks?

The GTR is the benchmark now. But then it does almost everything by itself.

So many ppl on here talking performance and then you see posts like "when are they coming out with springs?" - you guys know that makes your performance worse right?
