Question Recommendation for front plate placement

I will have to have a front license plate for my vehicle for about 30-45 days. I don't plan on having one permanently and not trying to drill any holes in my bumper, so my idea is to attach it to the lower mesh as a temp solution. I've seen some cars with small brackets that attach under the car to a plate up front. But if I choose to go straight to the mesh which side/location would be the least problematic for cooling and such. Options anyone?

We are taking a European delivery on a new M6 convertible on September 17. The package that BMW sent us states that they install the German front plates with double stick tape to prevent drilling holes in the bumper. Asked if they have issues with it being blown off and the answer was no. Just a suggestion. We have no front plates in FL so the dealer removes the taped plates when the car arrives in the US. Hope this helps.

Yeah that was my original idea, double sided tape like they use for all the standard decals and such but I'm not sure if it will work on mine. I'm having them put cilajet on the paint and it's supposed to keep things from sticking/bonding to the paint. I think I may have to ask the dealer to do a test run on a spare part for me or email cilajet customer service to see what they say. I would hate for it to fly off at 250kph...
