Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System

Im looking for an exhaust system for my F06 BMW. I had an Eisenmann Race exhaust on my F12 and the drone drove me crazy at lower rpm 1800-2200. The Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System looks awesome but does it truly have zero drone? If anyone out there has already had theirs installed and has driving experience with it please let me know! Thx

Yeah. Zero drone. Even with DP's. If there is drone I never notice or hear it. Cant go wrong with Akra.

13000 kms on mine, no drone, sounds superb. Highly recommend Akra.

The Meisterschaft is only annoying between 2500 and 2900 rpm

I just installed Akra full systems. Zero drone and it sings at above 3K rpm. ^,^.
When I had my stock exhaust with the flap set to opened I can always hear drone between 1500-2000rpm. But Akra no drone and sounds excotic

Since Akrapovic makes the M performance exhaust why not just buy the M performance exhaust from BMW?

Agree with Hunter had the Akra since delivery now 16 months and amazing. No drone, exotic sound. Only problem is pricey.

They are the same is why I was saying buy the BMW one so no issues since its from the Manufacturer. BMW parts are marked up 30% btw...

I got Akra and AMS downpipes, sounds perfect, no drone or headaches. Rich and exotic sound, gets a lot of head turns

I think all exhausts on the new M cars sounds all the same or not similar.

If you want something loud I say go for the GTHAUS.

If you have the extra money then go with Akro IMHO.

I had the Akrapovic installed on Monday. I'll post the video when weather permits. It's awesome and without drone!! I appreciate all of the info.

GTHaus sounds the meanest...hands down. However, slight drone from about 2300-2700. My standard fix is to never use 7th gear on the fwy and shift high on the streets. Haha!

Seriously though, the only time you notice the drone is long fwy trips in Automatic. Another option with GTHaus on the fwy is to close the flaps (zero drone). When Wife is in the car, flaps are usually closed. Otherwise... I say drone on and just turn up the radio!

Assuming it is the same, how much is Akrapovic? And where do you buy them.?

What looks best including GThaus? Would theirs void warranty? Thx

They are exactly the same exhaust, the Akra and BMW M Performance. I think I saw the M performance exhaust was on a site for about $6,400 (not including installation of course). I think the advantage with the M Performance are the sweet carbon fiber tips with the laser engraved M logo. Here is a pic from an M4 with them on:
