From M5 to M6GC!!

Finally getting around to posting a few pics of my new baby. My F10 M5 was the most amazing car ive ever had period......that was until i picked up this baby! Thought i would miss the sunroof but i havent, handles better because of the carbon roof and lower center of gravity im assuming, this is the nicest interior on any BMW period! Last but not least this car commands waaayy more attention than the M5 did....its just simply beautiful!

So nice! I love that color. It is way better looking than an M5. In real life, people just talk about it when it rolls up, even people who don't know what it is.

There is no doubt that M6 looks nicer and more luxuries than M5 but since you have had experience with M5 and now with M6 please let me know how you compare these two cars as far as handling? I know M6 GC has wider track and lower center of gravity BUT it is about 4" longer and a bit heavier. Different steering and different suspension might make it worse or better...

Really interested to hear a detailed comparison of the two, San Marino Blue is the best color on any car of any time period if you ask me. Paint corrected San Marino in the sun is beyond beautiful!

Congrats. Agree on the interior and handling. M6 GC takes it up a notch from the M5. Let the modding begins...

Enjoy! I took the similar but much less aggressive combo - a 2016 640 xi GC. But in Mediterranean Blue and Red leather interior it has a similar look. And yes, I get compliments daily. If I were single and 30 years younger, it would help me get more "you know what...".

So true! I have even my neighbors that have seen my M5 for the last 3 years and never drooled over it but this one....forget it!

Wider track and lower center of gravity makes a huge diff but i also have comp pack on this one whichh i didnt have on the M5 so who knows.

With Downpipe and MSR your M5 must have more power than your M6 but my question was about handling and not power...

The power response was for Bobby_Drake.

The handling is much better in the GC. It feel way lighter than it really is. Lighter and more nimble than the M5.

Congrats on the new car! I love San Marino Blue (biased of course, since I have the same color).
