Yesterday, BMW kicked off the international press event for the new 6-Series Cabrio (F12) in South Africa. These press days aren't meant to introduce any new facts and figures (we've already extensively covered the car in all its gory detail here), but rather gives members of the press some hands on time with the car in order to go back home and write their first drive reviews. BMW did however release a set of new pictures that we thought should be shared.

Ive attached a gallery below (which you can download high resolution wallpaper quality images from as well), the most interesting of these cars to me is the dark blue 650i that is sitting outdoors next to the E63 6-Series. This car actually has a custom BMW Individual interior fitted and you can see how the high quality materials of the new 6-series really compliment the BMW Individual color schemes.

I can't say enough how much I am in love with the interior of the new 6!

I agree, the interior is gorgeous and it looks better with the larger wheel options. BUT it still just looks so loooooooooooong and stretched out, and it also looks better to me with the top up even thougt you'll need your reverse camera on when driving forward so you can see out the back

Somehow the current design team can't get the headlights right. In the new 5er they were just OK, in X3 - plain ugly, but this is not only ugly, it doesn't look like a BMW anymore...

The car needs full LED headlights and blinkers, like the 6er coupe concept. For the rest, it's really great looking!!
