M5 343M 20" wheels for 640i XD GC?

I currently have 373m 20" wheels on my 2014 640i XD:
8.5 x 20, ET 33
9 x 20, ET 44

I want 2013 343M 20" wheels from the M5:
9 x 20, ET 32/34 (haven't figured out which of the 2 it is)
10 x 20, ET 34

Does anyone see any issues with this? According to what I have read, this should work

Same from factory...just swap them from 373M...245 front and 275 rear..but you can easily go with 255 front and 285 rear...i will definitly go with my new tire setup..and NON RFT!!

Thanks,
Please let us know how this turns out. I'm looking to swap my 373M's for the 343M's on my 640i coupe but don't want to purchase them yet without knowing they truly fit.

As others said, the M5 rims fits perfectly. Just make sure you get M5 343M (20x9, 20x10) and not M6 343M (20x9.5, 20x10.5)

OK, just to let everyone know. It doesn't fit. It's not flush, unless you like this look. The outside of the rim is about 7mm wider than the body of the car without a tire. When fit a tire it will add another 2-5 mm.

Damn it looked so nice.

Pics below.

With tyres on the wheel and the wheel taking full weight, would the camber not be enough to bring the wheel in enough to fit flush?

You could run 285 on the rear so it can sit under the quater panel (if it's the OEM M5 Wheels). I'm currently running the M5 wheels on my 650i Gran Coupe.

use 255/35/20 and 295/30/20 and the tires are the exact same diameter - perfect for xdrive

I have xdrive and that's exactly what I had put on my wheels (though I went with VS Forged VS08 20x10.5 and 20x9) and it was perfect. Thanks again for suggesting me to go that route. The guy I was buying from really felt that 285/245 was the right size but I pushed for the 295/255 and it came out amazing! The 285/245 would definitely look stretched.

Jamescc75: The only thing you should be aware of is that I am running 20x10.5's on the back. The 295's will be a little fatter on yours (sounds like you are looking at 20x10's for the back) but I still think that would be the right thing to go with.

Glad it worked out for you!

The 295 on the 10 inch wheel is perfect. Beefy but not bulging over the rim.

I am thinking about using 245/35/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the back.
What tires do you use? I am thinking about putting on Michelin PS 4S but there are non with BMW *. Do you use BMW Approved tires or its just a matter of size ?

Just size. As long as the load limits are in the same range you will be fine. I should note that the picture above with the rims sticking out past the fenders can't be M5 wheels. I would bet they are M6 wheels.

Get what you want, but a 275 tire on a 10" wheel is at the small end of what will work. Again, the 255/35 295/30 is the optimal fitment for the M5 wheels on an xdrive car.
