M6 Tips and Tricks
Decided that a thread like this might be helpful seeing as I'm not the only new owner of an M6GC. I think we can post helpful things such as SIBs and things to watch out for on an M6 or M6GC. Also things that you have been able to get fixed under warranty would be nice to post here even if you don't have an SIB #.
I'll start things off: Steering wheel makes high pitch buzzing sound. Not associated with lane departure warning which is a low pitch rumble. Make sure that sound isn't your blinker stalk rattling as well. Dealer should replace your vibration generator motor. SIB 661017 Defect code: 6137143900 |

I think someone on F10M5post should have it consolidated for the S63TU.
I ran my VIN at the dealer and my record shows I've had this SIB done: SIB 111714: retrofit Heat insulators to turbo coolant lines

You can check by popping your engine cover. You should see some aluminum foil looking things covering your turbo lines. |
