I have the KW HAS and I think they are superb. No loss of comfort but slightly stiffer, improve looks and improve steering feel and surely they cannot be much more expensive than H and R?

If I drop it, I'll go this route then.

Appreciate the writeup and info! Thanks

Go with KW HAS or Dinan coilover kit.
Both do the same thing. I have installed both kits and have pictures if you are interested.
Ride quality is great with both.

To each their own. lol
But I think with the springs its not flush enough. I'm not about going "hellaflush" but look at the pic that bigbrian posted, now that is perfect.
You just can't get that with springs, you need coilovers.

Personally, I'm considering changing out my springs in the future and going with K&w coilovers in the future.
So OP I think you good, just spend the extra money and go with coils

I believe Brian is on KW HAS which is not as low as H&R in the front. That's unless he recently changed to coils.

I have the KW HAS on the M6 with the collars maxed out (as low as it can go).

HAS or full Variant 3 coilovers are the way to go. Both have killer ride quality and are completely adjustable in terms of ride height. I run KW HAS on the M6 and KW Variant 3 Coilovers on the X5M.

Brian
