Can anyone recommend an installer for BMS N63 stage 2?
Hello all,
Has anyone installed BMS N63 stage 2 tune on their car? Can anyone recommend a installer around Zip 91789/southern California? |

The install is very easy and you can probably do it yourself. You just need to remove the airbox on each side and the BMS plugs into the connector on each of the chiller boxes.
If you want someone to install it maybe take it to an audio shop or something, give them the instructions, and they can do it for you. Brian

It's the same. Don't say that out loud to an installer or they will charge you $2000 to do a 30 minute job.
If u have the tools, knock it out. You may get your hands dirty, but they will clean up. It's just some screws, few bolts and some time. Always a Good time to build your toolbox up! |

Stage 1 and Stage 2 is the same install. Plug it into 2 connectors and you are done. No Stage 2 does not remove the speed limiter. You need an ECU tune to remove the limiter.

If you are on a budget or just want the biggest bang for your buck the JB4 BMS box is the way to go. If you want a better tune I would go for a full ECU tune by AMS or another tuner such as EuroCharged. With a full ECU tune tou will get the speed limiter removed, the check engine light removed if running catless downpipes, and they can adjust boost, timing, fuel, and they can do this through the whole powerband which is the best way to tune any car. A full ECU tune will run you $2500-3000. Well worth the money IMO. Brian |

ECU tune all the way if you want more than just a little extra power. Mine was quite involved but 728hp and 950 torks makes it worth it.
Also fitting of the BMS is dead easy and IMHO if you cant unplug and plug a few things in then why are you driving an M car.... (no offence intended bud!) |

I ain't afraid to get my hands dirty nor do I think I'm incapable but I'm just lazy and rather let someone's who's familiar and has experience with it do it quickly.
So I found a shop that I'm going to this Saturday who's installing my downpipes and tune and I'm pretty excited. If I get bored of this setup and have a couple grand to kill, now I know what to do lol. Although I'm thinking an exhaust and wheels would come first. Btw I have a f13 650i, I wish had had a m6 I think that's why my car sits so high even after the h&r springs Appreciate the input from everybodies |

Think you will notice a big improvement over stock especially if you are fitting downpipes as well! Catted or decat? |
