There was no gran coupe insight at the dealership for sale. The only one was an executive manager demo. Thus the BMW 650 grand coupe looks awfully similar to the Porsche Panamera Sedan. Last edited by laurenxesq; 08-05-2012 at 01:17 PM.. Reason: typo |

Congratulations and hope you have fun, stay safe.
Please could you post your thoughts on the LED headlamps your car has fitted: day and night time driving impressions. During the day, It looks the business and really lifts the car aggressive profile compared to the standard HID xenons. Love the 3D corona eyes too. Is it brighter and better at night? |

The LEDs are the must-have option for me - maybe even more than M Sport (although it would kill me to give it up).
If you need a reason to justify getting the LEDs, then yes, they're a "safety feature." They do improve illumination at night between the daylight-like lighting and the corner illumination. Despite the safety benefits, they're worth every penny. They change the whole look of the car (M Sport or not), and I can't see spending 6er money on a car and drawing the line at these headlights.

It's amazing how the LED headlamps have changed the front profile of the car: taut, aggressive, sharper. It is a £1600 option in the UK, almost no car is specified with them and dealers advise against it when asked because they struggle to justify the cost over some other functional option, but I agree it lifts the look.
I may be in a minority of 1 on this but on the 6GC, I think the SE is better Than the M Sport because it gives you a much wider range of customisation options on exterior colour, trim, interiors. One can always add select MSport options. There, I said it. |
