VREDESTEIN ULTRAC VORTI R TIRES 305/25/21 and 265/30/21
Anyone ever run these? They are in stock for 21" wheels but seem suspect.

I believe many E60 M5 owners used them ( some M3 guys too) but this was a few years ago. At the time, no one was complaining. Haven't heard much on them being used for F series tho. Not exactly great help but figured to let you know that they have been used on Ms before.

Did you know this tire has a softer compound than MPSS?
The treadwear rating is 160 compare to 300 on MPSS. It means this tire lasts less than MPSS, but has better traction (dry road) which is good... http://www.vulcantire.com/tire_detai...rr_t.htm_10882 MPSS 305/25/21 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....150427213216:s

Would any of you ever run Pirelli 305/25/21s in the rear and 265/30/21 michelins in the front. I located a pair of each. I am on a crazy hunt for tires...which is not going as planned....lol

I too am on the hunt. Im on the waiting list for the michelins but im told they may not ever come back. Right now the wait is ATLEAST 8-10 Weeks.
Im also considering the Vreds in this size. I hear they are decent but no one has raved like they do with the PSS. I honestly attribute that the fact that no one really runs them. Does anyone know if on a 21inch wheel you can do different size tires safely on the M6? Everything ive seen is a 21X9.5 in the front 21X11 in the back. I dont know if any other widths would be wise? |

Call need4speed motorsports. They located a new set of 265/30 21 and 305/25 21 Michelin PSS. Paid roughly $600 over cost but was worth it to me to get high quality tires. I believe their distributor may have a few remaining.

As luck would have it though some random shop in AZ decided to post a brand new pair last night on ebay. I paid a tad over tire rack pricing, about 475 a tire plus shipping but im just happy i snagged em! |
