Help me decide my wrap color
Good morning fellow M-Heads. I have the unique opportunity to re-wrap my car due to some circumstances leaving my Xpel Ultimate useless. I'm thinking of departing away from the typical glossy look of my current Black Sapphire Metallic paint and going with a striking matte finish.
Some examples I found online: I'm kind of leaning to the pearl white wrap to go with my Silverstone interior.

Why? I thought you liked the color of the car, one of the dark grey schemes I believe.

What happened? if you don't mind me asking...
I think wrapping is always a great route to go, you can change up the color of the car, protect the paint, and make your car unique. I always liked the clean look of Satin/Frozen Gray, really suits the lines of the car. If you want to be more dashing I suggest choose something more exotic, such as a satin blue or the satin red pictured. Have you possibly thought of being a bit daring and trying a brushed vinyl? like brushed blue steel, that would be crazy. But might not be to everyone's taste. I'm planning on wrapping my future M6, but it's going to be something no one's done before, so it's a secret for now but don't worry it won't be hot pink

I feel of these colors- the 3m gray wrap definitely suits the m6. I'm ordering my next m6 in a frozen space gray color paint which is very similar to this one-
I once saw an m3 with a balloon white wrap that looked very similar to the satin pearl wrap you posted. Looked real good- so I say flip a coin between those two- can't go wrong ☺️

I think if you are going for a wrap,
try something more striking,, if they have something close to satin sakhir orange that would be great!

Brushed steel, wow - I don't think I've seen that on the street. Pretty interesting - I bet a million people would try to touch my car just to feel it. Satin Sakhir Orange is definitely polarizing considering it was the launch color of the M6 coupe. Maybe I should go camo? Or even chrome?

For some people a wrap is just a way to stand out, but they think standing out is having a matte white/black wrap.
Personally i want to see a matte orange or lime green m6!! I know bmw has made a fire orange m6 coupe for one of their DTM drivers, but that was glossy and not matte. Or you could go way off path and get it in digital camo. |
