I'm fitting the Vorsteiner alloys and prefer the look of the Vorsteiner spoiler too.
Looks great

I've got the diesel so not sure if muffler will make a positive difference to it? Was planning to go with tips only.

I've ordered one, from local BMW dealer, took a while as they had to ask BMW for a price as it wasn't released.

Thanks again.

Mate that spoiler looks much better than the OEM. Your car will look like a beast!!

Sorry for the late reply. Here is what I've got. Carbon black metallic 650 coupe, I added the M Performance carbon fiber lip spoiler and the carbon fiber diffuser along with OEM M6 exhaust. As you can see, there is a trim piece that is body color painted that on non-M cars is usually gray.

Or, you can get the M6 Gran Coupe OEM diffuser. I personally didn't like it because the carbon weave didn't match the lip spoiler. So, I changed.

Car looks brill man! I concur that the OEM M6 diffuser doesn't really do that much for me either so opted for the 3-fin. But hey, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder!

I think the 343M's off the M5 have 32 ET front and 34 ET rears. The stock 19" / 20" M-Sport rims for the 6 series are 33 ET front and 44 ET rears. Straying too far from the original off-sets will mean either the wheel will not fit or narrower tyres have to be used.

The 343's in this case are close enough to the originals to make a good fit for the 6er. Plus they are forged so lower unsprung weight too.

No problem mate. If you are thinking of getting the 343's, I think the maximum tire size you can run in the rear is 285 as the rear off-set is about 10mm out from the originals. If you go for custom after-market ones (like I am going for), you should be able to run 295's.

So 285's won't rub at the back fender?

The stock 373's run 275, the 343's run 285 and custom after-market ones should be able to run 295. Rolling the rear arches may be able to squeeze in 305's but that is a whole new ball game.........

I can't go for the B6 Alpina spoiler as BMW don't recommend it as its a USA part. BMW UK are saying they you can't buy the UK B6 spoiler without also buying the B6 front spoiler at £1400. In the end I went for the M Performance one and bought it from Germany and shipped over. Cost me £380 instead of £585 from BMW UK.

Cheers,
Like your car and the wheels, also ordered M5 wheels and experiencing fitment problems, maybe you can chime in at this posthttp://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1063533 where I'm asking for a pic of the backside to see the how far the M5 wheels stick out?

Theres no problems with the fitment of the M5 wheels. Loads of people have fit them and they are flush with the fenders. If you are having problems, you have ordered the M6 version or maybe incorrect tire sizes.

Well I don't know if they are flush, because I haven't found a picture of a gran coupe taken directly from behind. I did found one on this forum from someone who has a coupe and they stick out. Let me look for it.
