Post My Official Mod Journal | 2014 BMW M6 Coupe

Greetings,

I'll keep all the long details out and jump to the good stuff, a journal on my 2014 BMW M6 coupe

I will continue updating the thread with my mods. Let me know what you think


Mod 1 - AMS Catless downpipes - 590RWHP & 550RWTQ (EAS Dyno)

Mod 2 - 30% Huper Optik Ceramic Tint

Mod 3 - KW Varient 3

Mod 4 - 10mm Spacers

Mod 5 - P3Cars Vent Integrated Display Interface

Mod 6 - Eisenmann Sport Catback



Mod 8 - BBi Signature Alignment and Corner Balance

Looks good man. Did you get a check engine light from catless dps? I'm leaving my car on friday for big mods, I chose catted dps

I've had my rear wheel rub on the inside of the fender, don't the spacers make that a bigger issue?

Did you get the EDC Delete for the coilovers. Everyone tells me they don't work.

They seem to work for me. I did have trouble aquiring some of the correct parts due to confusing and inconsistent part numbers, however Andrew@iND helped me get the correct stuff.

Once I received and installed the parts I was headache free, just had to go back and forth over the phone to make sure it was all the right stuff.

I would recommend you check and perhaps purchase with him.

when you lower the car the wheels naturally push inward, 10mm spacer moved them back out to the correct (non-rubbing) format.

I went with catless dps. Has your CEL switched on with the catted system?

I have them already but was debating on installing them because a few guys I know who have installed the EDC delete say it doesn't work even after they get a new set Sent out to them. Others have said it works initially but then fails. How would I know if it is the correct EDC Delete kit for my car?

with catless downpipes the cel will come on.. it's a small light on the dash, doesn't bother me.

I read one of your posts, and saw that you cracked both front ceramic brakes. But BMW gave you new ones under the warranty?

Im thinking about them for my M4 but a little worried if they easily crack
