No tints on anything other than factory rears! Can see how some of the photos give that impression though must just be the lighting?

20" wheels on it as standard - style 343M (I think?)

You'll enjoy the increased mpg coming from a 350Z then! Do you find much difference in power for the better/worse?

Huge increase in mpg, the Z averaged 23 mpg, also a big savings in road tax for me, £290 per year for Z £ 145 for the 640.
Just had my rears tinted, think it looks a lot better, running 19" wheels which came standard on the car.
Would have liked a few more options on her but I got a good deal so can't be disappointed.

Looks good mate. Have you got a link where you got the m6 grills from? If BMW, do you have the part number? I've got a gc and got the BMW perf grill but it had chrome vertical slats.

This looks good if it fits.

Thanks

Looks awesome, much better than the 70s retro silver grille!! How hard was it to remove the old ones? I have had a set sat on the kitchen table for weeks pending fitting..... What tools did you use??

Just make sure it fits a GC before buying though! It SHOULD be the same Fitment, though just check with the seller!

Bought it off this seller on eBay.

Fitment is good, and no issues with quality cosmetically months later!

I've changed the grills on nearly all my BM's...e46 3 series, e90 3 series, e63 635d, F32 4 series and on my current f12.
This was by far the hardest to remove! I used a torx driver to remove six bolts at the top of the bumper, so that I was able to pull it back to gain access to the top of the grill.
Then using a long screw driver, pressed down on the clips to loosen and remove the top part of the grill.
Then the ugly bit was trusting myself to pull hard enough to get the rest of the grill out! I was reluctant at first, but a good hard downward pull got them both out! It was surprising in the end. Then the new ones just push back in their place

I wonder what those black grills would look like on my car? Black on black? Any opinions?

Ok completed the job and wow you were not jokeing about it being tough..... 1stly there are 4 really tough press studs that need removing then the torque screws. This is the easy part. Part 2 managed to depress the 3 top clips and on side one.... Cut up both arms.... After about 1h of tiring to release the biggest trim clips at the bottom it became apparent that I needed to use brute force and used a bent skewer to release one tab then puller the grill away using my hands rather than tools. Eventually pulled out the silver retro trim and this gave more space for removal of the other side. Would I do it again yeah it makes a massive difference to the look but would actually break the old retro grill slats off as it's much easier that way!!!!
