they thought it was gift from god, until someone told that it was not suppose to be there only then did they realize it need to be removed

Looks like a plexiform neurofibroma in a patient with neurofibromatosis.

Complete resection is difficult, and surgery is usually reserved for when they are problematic for the patient.

Of course, maybe he just didn't notice it, and his buddy said 'hey, maybe you should get that looked at'.
