Lease end- Buy, Buy and Sell, or Walk Away

3 months left on my lease, and I'm struggling with what to do. For background, I have a 2012 650i, Space Grey/Vermillion, 6MT, not quite 19K miles at the moment.

I need to have enough room in the back seat for 2 car seats (3 and 1.5 at the moment). I very, extremely, really really prefer a stick. Thoroughly dislike automatics. Seriously. Obviously, nice car with performance is good...

I can buy mine out, maybe put it up for sale permanently, too, or find a new car.

Buy out pros: Sweet car, 1 owner, low miles. Manual transmission, power and luxury.
Buyout cons: Payments go up by almost 50%, it's 3 years old, and, I swear, getting loose and rattley feeling, I've driven this car already...

New car pros: It's new. Probably 4 doors. Tesla is attractive, Panamera is a definite maybe.
New car cons: Really hard to find a stick in anything. Maybe a WRX?

I blame BMW directly, and all you guys buying automatics indirectly, for my quandary! Thoughts? I need help leaning harder in one direction or another.

M5 or M6 in manual. 2012 650i is nice, but you can get something nice again from BMW.

OP, M6 manual is really rare, but you can find 2013-2014 M5 manual and will be more than happy since it's a big jump from 400HP to 600HP, 450 tq to 500 tq

M3 manual is a possibility, really, from a size/performance/stick perspective. a '14 M5 is an intriguing thought.

I test drove a manual M5 today. I would get one for a daily driver.

What's the buyout? Auction prices are roughly $38k-45k depending on the area, so I'd figure $48k-$60k private party. I'd consider buy and sell if the numbers look right and then find a manual M.

Buyout is $53K, KBB shows ~$50K, maybe 1 listed for sale at any given moment anywhere, so obviously not a big market.
