2014 Competition Package Upgrade to 600HP

Hello,

Please help me out with this! I was wondering if
a) the competition package in a 2014 is upgradable to 600HP
b) what month and year was it upgraded from 575 to 600 in the US?

Need this info to decide whether to go in for the GC now or wait a little

I'm not positive but I think it depends on the build date of the 2014. If it was built after a certain month then I believe it can be upgraded to 600hp. Best way to know would be to call your local dealer and ask

As far as I know 2014 CP was 575 PS. M6 CP 600 PS was introduced in 2015 as 2016 model...

CP 575 built July 14 to July15 qualify for the power upgrade package to 600 hp , they have same dampers upgraded turbos and manifold as the July 2015 CP 600




Mine is a May 15 build, had the upgrade put into mine

Your not going to notice a diff between 575 and 600 on these cars. If you care that much just get a piggy back tune or better yet a flash tune like dinan that gives you nearly 100HP and keeps the factory warranty in tact!

I though that for the new model year, the CP was upped to 600 from 575 and the none CP was increased from 550 to 575bhp, am i wrong

Non CP has always been the same 412kw/560ps with 680nm.

Yes, it's an easy upgrade which you have to purchase from a BM dealership.Germany BM send a file and when dealership has received it and confirmed receipt, they then send the dealership a password so they can install it in your car
