How to get more Growl from my Eisenmann Race?

Have the Eisenmann Race axle back exhaust. Want it to sound closer to the Meisterschaft tone.

Looking to get more growl/volume. Anyone know what the best mid pipes to get the job done?

Not looking to get catless downpipes or anything. Don't want to deal with the CEL or the smell that comes with catless DP's.

Thanks!

the only choice is to remove the stock resonators given that you don't want to go DP

If you want it to sound like a Meisterschaft, you should get a Meisterschaft

Next best option would be to add midpipes

Right. How can I do that? Who makes the mid pipes that will remove my factory resonators?

I am looking for a nice pre-owned GTC valved version but no one is selling theirs

Who makes the mid pipes that don't have the resonators? Seems like thats what I may need.

Would that setup (with mid pipes) drone a lot? Right now, I have very little to zero drone with the axle back Eisenmann Race's which is great.

Keep your stock midpipes and have a shop cut the resonators

Hmm, interesting. You mean just cut out the resonators and replace with regular piping? Would that add a ton of drone? Is this process reversible?

I was just offered a Meisterschaft Xpipe for $1500. Any feedback on that route verses the Supersprint X-Pipe, or keeping the stock midpipes and have a shop cut the resonators?

Thanks...trying to make the right decision.

Depends on budget. If unlimited just buy eisenmann midpipe, if wanting lower cost cut the resonators.

I am being told that Stainless Steel is stainless steel so the piping is the same no matter who makes it Eisenmann, Meisterschaft or a custom shop... which makes sense.

So with that in mind, I may first try and have a shop cut out the stock factory resonators (as long as this process is reversible) and see if the sound significantly improves from the Eisenmann's.

Let me know if the shop says it is reversible. I wouldn't think It's reversible given the small amount of length lost upon cutting the pipes. I guess if they use an adapter the process can be reversed. Without resonators the drone will increase, so just keep that in mind

The drone is what I'm concerned about

I believe that the resonators are somewhere in the middle of the car (please correct me if I am wrong).

Electronically controlled Valve's that open/close (such as the ones that Meisterschaft offers in their GTC system) are usually placed from what I have seen near the exhaust tips.

Again, I could be completely wrong and talking nonsense so please correct me if I am wrong

E-Race doesn't have valves, only the Sport mufflers do
