steering heavy on one side

i currently own a 2014 650i with integral active steering, for some reason after returning from the track, steering is heavier when turning to the right side while light on the left side.

i took the car to the dealer to check it multiple times, they have changed the steering rack 3 times now and still issue not solved.

i have read on many forums that changing the steering rack should solve it, but in my case it didn't, i have changed the front tires, and waiting for my rear tires to arrive to change them.

but I'm pretty sure tires aren't the case here, to be frank, it feels like when turning left the active steering is working, but when turning right the active steering doesn't work.

anyone can faced a similar issue? my dealer is oblivious on how to solve it as my car is one of 2 or 3 in the country with integral active steering

Agreed that it doesn't sound like tyres but you could remove any doubt by switching sides. If the fault doesn't move with the change you can rule it out.

Sounds like it - there's quite a bit to go wrong there. As you haven't mentioned it I'm assuming that there was nothing definitive, such as a heavy kerb bump, that happened on your track day which might have caused it...

not really, i did scratch my wheels on a kerb, but nothing heavy just a usual scratch

but i do notice that every time i park my car on spot that requires riding over a tiny slope( normal house parking) i hear a click in the steering wheel or suspension, not sure where the sound comes from

I can tell you that a friend of mine had the same issue with his 545 back in 2005. I think it was some sort of programming issue? I'll see if he remembers.

turn the car on [motor running] ant then turn the wheel from lock to lock. this calibrates the steering.
