Comfort Access Not working

Bought a 2006 M6 about 2 months ago but notice confort access options are not working. Can;t open Passenger or driver door without pressing button on remote. Also memory settings do not work.
I know most of the stuff I read , most people say you need to replace the door handle and sensor. could it be both door handles need replacing? Or is there something else I can check?

If your able to get your hands on ISTA and perform a scan, you’ll be able to pinpoint what the issue is. I assume you tried locking / unlocking on all doors and none worked. Last thing you want to do is buy a bunch of handles and only one was the culprit.
