Really that's great except that the inline turbo compressor six... well... let's say it appears to be not as excellent.

OP...Is this the stock exhaust?

I think most M exhausts sound like that (outside the car) and the TRICK is actually BMW playing fake exhaust sound thru the car's speaker to fool the driver into thinking he is in an M car

Haha I actually do enjoy the sound of the new X6 M but I can't disagree you calling it a "fart machine".

I can only imagine how great it must sound in your V8 M3.
