No you can't .
You may be able to add the existing wheels, sports exhaust and springs and dampers for considerable money.
If you have an existing CP built from August 14-15 you can add the HP upgrade to 600 HP (592bhp) which also tweaks the dampers and tc.

And how would do that ? take it to the dealer and ask him to do it ?

is there a way to check if it applies to my car before I do ?

Thanks

Yes, your dealer can check with your Vin.
Cars built after July(UK)14 with CP 575hp can have power upgrade, these cars have same springs and dampers and manifold as 2016 CP 600 HP models.
2014 model CP 560 HP can't have the upgrade.
Mine was June 2015(UK) build 575hp CP, had upgrade put in .Price was £1k
July -August 2015 CP (UK and USA)and onwards are 600hp:

Hope this helps

You can do a power upgrade for 15 hp from the dealer, but you will get much more from a tuner..

As for the other Comp stuff.. Its basically a No.. You can upgrade your springs, sway bars, and bushing to the competition ones, but you will still lack the Competition Active Differential, and suspension/sport driving settings that are tweaked with the comp. pkg., and to find coding for this is impossible.. So just up your power and enjoy your car the way it is.

Can you point me to anywhere that states BMW made 560HP competition
package. Every article I read when they launched the comp pack stated 575hp, I
have a comp pack m6 build before july 2014.

Or did they only launch a 560hp version in UK?

Your dealer will be able to order from Germany, it comes as a file with password to install and goes into the 2x dme to bring power up to 592bhp or 600hp

I understand what you are saying. It is in fact 25 hp upgrade, there is no upgrade possible from the 560 hp standard car. To get the 15hp upgrade you must buy a Competition Package when the car is new.

Depends where you live, some places will allow the HP update file to be added, other places/countries no.. But its pointless, just get a conservative tune if your worried and drive with 630hp BMW knows people tune the engines, they allow a certain amount of tolerance. With our cars, the transmission clutches will slip first before we reach engine conditions that are unsafe.. so with just a flash tune, you will make safe power and be well above the small amount the competition pkg ads.. I run ESS Flash on my M6 and its perfectly dialed in, safe and I dont have to mess with JB4, or map switching or testing.. thats if you prefer the easy safe route.. and switching back to stock is takes just a couple min with their cable.

Hi. New to the forum and just doing a search for M6 owners with ESS flash tune. Picked up a '14 M6 GC CP and thinking about bumping it up with ESS flash. Hate the feeling that the new 550ix can kick my butt from 0-60mph. Did you add DP or no? I'm on the fence in getting the Fabworks GESI catted DP or just go stock. May need to consider moving back to Cali and concerned about not passing smog check. I wonder if I have to reflash if I add DPs later?

Yes if you want to clear CEL from the downpipes.

Yep, HP you can get upgraded to 600HP, but it's the differential tuning you won't be able to get.

Then again unless you track the car, otherwise the differential tuning won't matter much.

It's the same diff, but not sure the update tweaked the diff control box

Either way, for 25hp , it would be minimal

CP package includes an updated differential tuning, which Sport Auto said it improved performance on track and made the M5 noticeably friendlier at the limit.

Yes it has

CP 575 built July 14 to July 15 can have the upgrade as all components are exactly the same as the 600 CP built July 15, that's why BM allow the upgrade

Yeah of course the original CP already has the differential tune, I was referring to OP's 2013 non CP model. That he can easily get his car to over 600HP but he won't be able to get the factory diff. tune. from anywhere.

Sorry for the confusion, guess you thought I was comparing the diff. between 575HP CP to 600HP CP.
