Can the F06 M6 Exhaust fit on the F06 650i?

Doubt it will fit the Downpipes perfect but the rest should be fine I'd hazard a guess. My stock M6 exhaust is sat in my garage so if you want photos to compare in advance or any measurements let me know.

That would be great, I'm new to this so I don't know much about bmw. Just learning as I go. You can send me the measurements.

I'm pretty new to this honestly, I just purchased my 650 GC back in November. I had a SRT Jeep prior and they void your warranty for any reason. I want to do some mods but not sure how it would affect my warranty, that's why I'm going with OEM. Why wouldn't I get some good sound, lol isn't it a performance exhaust?

The part that would connect to the catalytic converter, I'm looking to install from the cat-back. Depending on the size that's how I'll purchase my downpipes.

Yeah ... Performance exhaust ... Minus the raspy deep baritone exhaust note to go with it ... They really messed up the exhaust note ... This why many are running akrapovic evolution, Eisenmann etc etc

Do yourself a favor and see if you can get an eisenmann or akra for your car ... BMW even got into bed with Akra so that the BMW M perf exhaust you can get from BMW is a re-badged akra with different carbon fiber tips ... Oversight on BMWs part ... I THINK SO

Don't waste your money on a stock/OEM M6 exhaust

You will be very happy with one of the other options ... And see is there is a BMW M perf bin akra you can get for you car as this will not have a warranty issue then

I appreciate the englighment bud, I guess I was going about it all wrong lol. Would it be much better to get it from the cat-back or axle-back and just delete the resonators and mufflers?

The Eisenamnn makes a sport and Race that is an Axle back and a cat back ... it was amazing on my 2007 M6 (seeing the cats on the 2016 M6 are near the engine in the down pipes ... I can't say for sure the cats are there for the current 650) ... the sport I found perfect (with the oval tips) for my 2007 M6 cabrio, while the Race was too load and had too much drone

The Akra is an amazing system be it Akra direct or BMW M Perf Bin Akra ... very nice sounds ... but very pricy ... love the sound on my 2016 M6 Cab see what is avail for your set up on the 650.

There are many who did the turner muffler delete for the M6 ... not sure if one exists for the 650 and how it will sound... for the M6 it was similar to the Akra and much better priced

I would google the various exhaust options for you car and see the set-ups and listen to them ... the sound is very personal

If BMW M Perf Bin has an akra for your car ... then no warranty issues or concerns ... that being said I have not had any issues on 3 BMWs with aftermarket exhausts or intakes to date ...

Many options ... now for some google research ... and enjoy the fun and sickness of mods!

I hope this helps a little ... many choices out there to look over

Perhaps I would try deleting the mufflers and see how it sounds ... then try resonator delete ... as the delete makes it straight through ... similar to full akra evo exhaust ... or the muffler delete via the turner option ... these may be a much better price point and will let you see how it sounds ... if not happy than explore the other options and costs ... and these are relatively reversible options to try ... a muffler shop was able to re-attach my 2007 M6 OEM Exhaust when the Eisenamann RACE was just to much for my ears

This may be a good starting point ... see if Turner offers a Muffler delete option and perhaps straight pipes to delete the resonators

The only issue may be how free flowing/restrictive the exhaust will be compared to the Akra set up with larger diameter pipes .. but muffler delete and resonator delete will make it more free flowing to begin with

Fi-Exhaust wants me to advertise their exhaust system with downpipes on my car. I'm going to see what they're about.

Which intake brand did you go with? Doesn't that turn on the "check engine" light?

I really hate how the 650 pipes looks lol, that's why I want to change the exhaust. I'll look into the resonators and muffler delete if I don't go with a new exhaust.

I ran with the Super Sprint Catless down pipes ... I gift from my dealer to me on this car order (they are my patients ... ). Yes the CEL comes on occasionally only with the akra ... You can do freer flowing fownpipes with performance cats so the CEL doesn't go on

Have not changed the intakes yet on the 2016 ... Although BIGBRIAN has ... Ask him as he is a wealth of knowledge and amazing advice ... Becides ... He has been a little too quiet lately

For my 2007 M6 we did K&N ... And worked with them so the mass air sensor and O2 sensors were not right across from each other thus tripping the CEL ... My dealer and K&N dealt with the issue and remedied it

You could always just swap out the tips

Once you have the sound you like for price point you are happy with

That's exactly what I need because this is my first bmw. So I don't know much about them. It's a great learning experience. The mods I want to do are

1) Lowering
2) Front bumper
3) Rear bumper
4) Exhaust
5) Air Intake
6) Orange Sahkir paint

My car is black now.

I like 1, 4 and 5 ... And add a front CF lip, rear CF defuser and trunk lil spoiler ...
Paint may look off as the door sills and under hood likely still black
