Why wouldn't they cover those in paint as well?

Perhaps they could ... However the engine bay, door sills and the inside of doors and inside of trunk may be more work and cost than worth it ... May be better to trade for the color you are looking for ... Just my 2 cents seeing how body shops have repaired cars in the past
