UK Discount

Does anyone here in the UK know what sort of discount to expect on a new 640i convertible? Before we even start bargaining my dealer's knocked £16k off and I've heard rumours of around £20k.
I'd be interested to know if anyone here has heard anything - thanks.

The 6-series is BMW's heaviest discounted model, especially the petrol convertible and the coupe; the Gran Coupe (in diesel and petrol) not so much. The new 6-series can be routinely had for £20,000 off list price when well optioned and around £16,000 on stock cars - you can also find 0% interest deals with some effort. This is easier to achieve in September before the numberplate change.

With a new facelift, this might be slightly harder to wrangle in some parts of the UK (SE) but not so in the Midlands and North.

Thanks for the reply, you're right about the North/South divide - I've been offered £16k discount plus £26k trade-in for my current 2011 F12 from my usual dealer in Scotland. I'm with friends in Kent right now so I thought I'd give the local dealer a chance - best they can do is £9k discount and only £24k for my car. Reckon I'll try pushing my dealer closer to the £20k mark.

Well, picked-up my 640i GC end of last year, list price came to bout £77k with all the extra's, got'em down to £52k after A LOT of haggling...........in the end they just wanted me to leave. And I live in the south east of England.
