Lowering 650 GC megan springs

Im looking to lower my 650 gc m sport. Was going to do coil overs but want to keep edc so trying to decide between H&R and Megan springs. Thinking Megan not because of price more because of more aggressive drop. Any input?

I was in the exact same boat. Didn't wanna lose EDC but wanted aggressive drop. I looked into Megan and heard mixed reviews regarding the quality and the amount of drop. It appears the front is about the same as H&R (about 1.2")but the back is more aggressive than H&R (about 1.1" vs .4"). Somewhere else, I read Megan was only .5" in back. I decided to play it safe and stick with H&R.

I put h&r in everything but scared of the rear drop and car having the racked look.

I thought about 21's but the roads are terrible where I live.
I've heard great things about the H&R springs.
After driving on the springs for a while did it lower anymore? I've heard 1-1.2 in front after settling and the back at .5-.7?

Thinking to lower my GC as well. Cant decide among eibach or h&r. Definitely like the drop on h&r but everyone reports it doesn’t preserve the comfort same as eibach. Anyone lowered on eibach? Any comparison pics among H&R and Eibach pro kit?

I had Eibach's on my F10 550i. The ride was so much better than stock. No idea if the 650 would have the same result, but it's probable.

Confirmed with eibach. Those running msport package wont notice significant drop, just a few mm.

Decision made: H&R

I know is being asked before but i would really like to preserve or at least close the to factory my f06 comfort.

Those running H&R hows the ride like?

Interesting...I posted above. I have a 650 (non X drive) also with H&Rs and I have at least a 2 finger gap in the back. The front has about 1 finger gap. I'm on 20" wheels with stock tires. What size wheels are you running? Did you order the H&R springs that are actually designed/recommended for our cars?

Hi, I have h&r on my 640i. Quite disappointed with the drop because it was not enough, but I had the springs installed together with new wheels and a more agressive setup so couldn't really compare. In terms of ride, it's just as good as stock! My drop looks nothing as low as what other members have posted pics of their car

my car on H&R looks like drmlee's car. my rears are 10.5" 37+ running broad 295/25/21, the rear looks perfect with extremely little gap. in fact, when i get coilovers installed, i'm raising it up because of rubbing and scraping. the fronts are good with 21", as i scrape my lip often and wouldn't want it to go lower, but i would like the front to look lower.

i don't recall what it looks like with stock wheels, but pretty close to what bmpowered has up top. even from a quick glance, you can tell the car is lowered, so its not TOO subtle by any means. my coils are going to be for flying around corners, but i wouldn't want to lower it any more unless i'm running mild 20s"s

I just lowered mine on H&R. It has been about a week and has settled nicely. Let me see if I can upload some pics. 😡

according to h&r it is made for 640/650 f06, its the same exact part number as their f10 535 application 28947-1. but for whatever reason the F10 550 has a different h&r part #? i am also running 21" wheels, 255/30 and 295/25/21

im running 21" also, 21x9 and 21x10.5, my rears are et34, mine use to rub/scrape also, to solve that problem, i just had the alignment done and added some more negative camber in the rear. my rubbing/scraping issues weer gone after that.
