Don't mean to hijack the thread but I think I remember you from other forums I'm on for my other cars... GTRLife.com? or Lambotalk?

But yes HRE wheels always look enticing. Others have sent me PM's with no problems....I'll send you one.

Amazing car and wheel. I would love to see the rear wheel up close. In particular the size of the lip. Have any pics?

Sorry no close ups of the rear wheel, just the one close up of the front.

As far as lip size goes, you'll have the option of choosing lip size over conical profiles. What I mean by this is we have 3 major conical profiles, HO which is a flatter profile, MO which is our medium level, and LO which is the most conical profile (aka most concave). The most concave face profiles will limit lip size, so with our maximum conical profile of LO, the lip size would be 2.0". If you wanted to maximize the lip size, we can build the wheel with a flatter HO profile face and get a 3.5" lip instead.

Thanks for the explanation. As you can see in my pic, I am due for some wheels... Just looking for the perfect ones.

Well this thread will be a good help as it's just like being a kid in a candy store for M6 owners

I'm happy to work with you though and see if we can narrow down the selection. Feel free to PM me if you'd like the help

Those 305 wheels are cool

Thoughts on running R101LW M4 spec 20x9.5" at the front of an M6 Coupe, and the R101LW McLaren 650S spec 21x12" 40mm with a 20mm bolt on 5x114.3 to 5x112 adapter on the rear of an M6 Coupe? I want to run 275/35r20 and 325/25r21 PS4S.

I would highly advise against doing this. Every R101 LW is specifically load rated for ONLY the vehicle that it's intended for, which means your huge V8 in your M6 will be heavier than the front end of the M4, which could potentially cause problems.

Also since the McLaren runs a 5x112, that's not ideal whatsoever. Also your bolt pattern on your M6 is 5x120 so that would be the adapter you need, but even to start, a 12" won't fit on the back of an M6 properly.

I would highly advise against all of it, too much to go wrong. My suggestion would be to use the HRE P101 which is essentially the street version of the R101, and will still come with incredibly lightweight figures.

Yeah I was thinking of running the bolt on spacer to allow for the 21x12 wheel and of course it gives me the same stud pattern as future BMWs.

I thought that might be the issue with the front wheels. Will look at P101s too
