It doesn't... if anything, it provides a slight wider track for the car and that results in more stability. In my opinion, its all aesthetics... can beat a car with flush wheel and tire setup

i think this is the right place to post this question, what mm lower springs and spacers do i go for on my m6 coupe if i want that flush look and low wide stance? I have the standard 295 tires.

For those looking to add spacers to their car... i've just put 15mm spacers all round on my F13 M6 comp and can report no adverse wheel wobbles or shaking... can't comment on the handling at the mo as I've not really pushed it hard yet, but it seems fine... I've not noticed the difference.

Interesting, do you have the same size spacers, 15mm front and back? I am using Bimmec hub-centric spacers which are supposed to be a quality item. I've driven the car at various speeds and can't say I've noticed a vibration... do you have it at lower speeds too (like 50-53mph for example)?
