My Modded GC

Hey Guys,

Have made some initial changes to my GC so wanted to share them:

- Added BMW Performance Grill
- M5 343M Wheels
- M6 GC boot/trunk spoiler
- Michelin Pilot Super Sport Non Run Flats (255/35/20 Front & 285/30/20 Rear)

Thinking of:
- H&R Springs
- Quad Exhaust Tips
- M6 diffuser
- Tinted windows

Let me know what you think.

Cheers,

I love the stance with the M5 wheels. That should be standard issue for 2016

While you're thinking about the quad tip exhaust and M6 diffuser you could spend some pounds and paint the existing exhaust trim piece body color. It makes a huge improvement for not much money.

Looks fantastic by the way.

Is the rear spoiler the BMW M Performace one or is there another source. I found out that the 2 door coupe doesn't fit as the boot lid profile is very slightly different.

Thanks
Andrew

Thanks - have you got a pic of what that would look like?

It's OEM BMW for the GC and a few guys on this forum have successfully fitted to their 2 door.

Do you have the BMW part number as I didn't know BMW made one for the GC apart from the M Performance which is £600.

I ordered the 2 door version and it didn't fit. Apparently the M Performance one fits on a different part if the bootlid which is why it fits both 2 door and 4 door coupes.

I referred BMW to the M6 GC spoiler and I believe that is what they ordered - realoem link below:

Ah that's the one for the Alpina B6 - that explains why I couldn't find one. Can I ask what you paid for the primed rear spoiler?

Please can you post a picture that shows the spoiler fitted clearly

Thanks
Andrew

Nice. I think you have to do what you are thinking:
- Quad Exhaust Tips
- M6 diffuser

6er with quad exhaust tips look fantastic IMO

Thanks mate! That was the idea. Gonna stick on 21" Vorsteiners and lower on H&R's on a 255 / 295 set-up pretty soon...........that'll sort out the stance. :-)

I think either will look good - are you going to do the mufflers as well? I've done mine but get a 'drony' sound at highway speeds. Around town it is beautiful. They've told me I may need to get bigger ones fitted

Thanks for posting the pictures. Looks really good.

I've ordered one, from local BMW dealer, took a while as they had to ask BMW for a price as it wasn't released.

Thanks again.

What do you guys think of this one?

http://www.vorsteiner.com/bmw/m-seri...k-lid-spoiler/

I'm fitting the Vorsteiner alloys and prefer the look of the Vorsteiner spoiler too.
