Remote Mirrors

My driver side mirror on my 2007 M6 does not rotate nor is it adjustable using any of the controls in the arm rest: the passenger side mirror functions normally. I have not had any coding performed.

I suspect the actuator/motor behind the mirror has failed.

If I were to replace the actuator/motor, how do I access the failed components? In other words, how do I remove the mirror to access the 'stuff' behind the mirror?

Does anyone know the OEM part number for the actuator/motor and a good, reliable supplier?

Thank you.
