Side markers F12 M6

How do you remove the side markers on the f12? I got the gloss black ones from IND and im trying to switch them out. It came out so easy on the M4, does anyone know of a DIY?

Use a heat gun or hair drying. They are on there with double sided tape and it is easy to remove when hot. Access the back through wheel well.

I have a 2016 F06 and had IND do it for me (I live not too far from them). Anyway, I saw him use 2 or 3 plastic removal type tools and it took about 10 minutes for each. I asked and he said he was looking for the tabs to push them out. Perhaps you can look at the replacements and see where the tabs are and pry in that general location. Also, he put a lot of tape around it so as not to scratch the paint.

Not sure if this will help. Good luck.
