I know they are super similar and found some posts thats because center pipe has room to slide it would fit.

I did research that and some people were successful in a swap.

I definitely remember reading the guy swapped exhaust from grand coupe and back to couple couple of times.

Will need to be sent to a pro welder to make it work

I have 2008 m6 6 speed myself. I have dinan mufflers on it. Would sell it but do not have oem set to install on the car.

I found some info people fitting aftermarket exhausts between GC and coupe.

Center piece has good 4 inches of extension to make it work on GC.

I will try to find article and will post it here.

Could you take pictures of the mid section separated? I’m interested if there is that 4.5” additional pipe needed to fit an f06.

I might try messaging Akro directly and see if they have any insight.
