From the spy pic and also from earlier pictures posted on the site - the roof looks like a fake - where the soft-top meets the trunk lid looks like it has been glued on. The real hard/soft top (whatever it may be) lies folded inside the trunk. Does anyone else share similar thoughts?

Where the rear lights meet at the bootlid is where the shutline for the bootlid is. bring it much closer .

I think the roof is fake too. Bmw looks like they are done with cloth roofs.

Other than that the car looks to be right on the money.

It's not a fake soft-top. The next 6-series convertible will once again come with a traditional soft-top, but a factory folding hard-top option will be offered.

honestly im dying to see how this optional hardtop will look like, im afraid its going to look bad like the E93, not much of a fan of the E93. but you never know. i love the look of the soft top, very unique and aggressive looking.

Square wheels made out of stone are only available via BMW's individual program

So I think its time for a render of the hardtop version. Which I have SERIOUS doubts about...it just doesnt make sense that BMW would make the same car with 2 different roofs. It would defintely be a first ...for any auto manufacturer I believe?
