Thanks for the support. The grille does give the car a unique look, which is why I went for it in the first place. I will try toning it down with clear matte plastidip and see how that works out.

Yes it does. Already suffered a few minor scratches under the lip from a down ramp. Luckily not visible unless you look for it.

Yes, I ordered it through my local BMW dealership that happen to be an authorized distributor of AC Schnitzer. The kit comes in three parts:

Chrome Grille (USD1.7K)
Chrome-line Set (USD1K)
Front Spoiler (USD1.3K)

Painting and installation cost another USD950 for two days' work. Overall, the complete kit costs less than USD5K and a lead time of 3-4 months.

I actually like the whole thing. Initially the AC Chrome grill stands out because you're not used to seeing the 6 with it but it actually works and I can see why they designed it like that. I like it. Looks distinguished. Now if you decide to black the kidney grills then you can black that out too but I'm not sure. I believe that AC grill alone is $1200 or something. Nice job.

Thanks for the support Hunter. Glad someone likes them unaltered. I am getting used to them too after a couple of weeks. I had intended to plastidip the grille either matte black or matte chrome initially but so far have been hesitant to do so.

The AC parts are generally marked up by 15-20% where I live. I was charged USD1700 for parts and installation.
