Purchase advice

Looking buy one of two cars ASAP. I have to decide to get a Gran Coupe with full leather OR one with extended leather but with competition package. Which option is best have between the two?

Any and all feedback would be extremely appreciated. Thanks!

I never understood why full leather had to be an option for a car of this caliber.
I wouldn't take one without it.

Full leather for sure!!!

If you are a Gear head, as most M6 owners are, performance exhaust upgrades (Eisenmann or Akrapovic full titanium) and tuning your ECU you will do as the stock exhaust (competition pack or regular) is a sure let down for a car of this calibre ... I think the comp pack will be a waste of money. Heck, the BMW M performance parts bin has the akrapovic evo full titanium exhaust with BMW M tips as an option (READ BMW REALIZED THE STOCK SETUP SUCKS)!!!!

Exhaust and ECU Tune will give you better sounds and more HP and Torque than the CP.

Just ask and see what Big Brain has done to his ride ... it is amazing!

I put in the supersprint catless down-pipes and full akra evolution exhaust on my 2016 M6 cabrio as soon as the engine was broken in at 2000km ... now it rumbles! It is a very intoxicating sounds with exhaust note and turbo spool! The outgoing V10 had a nice rumble even stock ... new generation stock (CP or not) not so ...

now to look at getting the ECU tuned (Flash or piggy back Big Brian?)

just my 2 Canadian cents

I too believe Full leather is a MUST and must be standard on M5/M6/650i.
On the other hand I would like to have CP, but if I want to pick one (on M6), then I will pick Full leather; however if I want to pick one on M3/M4 then CP (if it's available) is the better choice. I didn't have full leather on my 650i but I have it on my M6 and to be honest with you it's day and night...

Thanks. I've decided full leather over CP. Unfortunately I couldn't find one that had both options. I guess 560hp will have to do.

Good choice!

if it was a 15 or early 16, not sure you would feel the extra 15 Hp in the mid 16 or earlier production years that the CP has. If I am not mistaken, the later 16's CP put them at 600 Hp

And aftermarket mods will get you more power if you really wanted it for the $$ upsell for the CP! Trying to do full leather after not as easy a task

enjoy the car!

what colors?

Sunny
