Wheel Offsets Front/Rear...again?
I hate asking questions that have been answered, but after a search I could not find this.
I'm picking up my new '14 650iX coupe tomorrow and it has 19" x 8.5" 351 wheels front and back and 245/40/19 tires. Is the offset (ET33) the same front and rear? Or is the rear offset different to appear staggered? Thanks all! |

Yes Sir, in a squared set of 245/40/19 they are (ET33), I had these exact wheels on my 2014 650xi.
Congratulations on the new 650!! Please post pictures once you have a moment.

As for square setup and X drive I find that strange. I had factory staggered wheels on my X5 and I plan to add a staggered OE setup on this too for summer. Is this not normal for 6s? 5s do it all day and it's the same platform. EDIT: the X drive relates to the same rolling measurement of the tires, not the width/stagger of the wheels. Hence 245/40/19 in front and 275/35/19 in rear. Same tire diameter. Am I missing something on this vehicle that is different than other X drives? THanks. When you have the square 8.5x19 set up, all wheels are ET33.
When you have a staggered setup 8.5x20 front and 9x20 rear, the rear ET is 44. These are OEM offsets. Does this answer you question? |

Post above made it sound like no one uses staggered sets with x drive. |
