New USB port in cupholder for 2017 models - size of flash drive?

In the 2017 models BMW have added a USB port to the 6 series in the cupholder, as seen here

Does anyone have a car equipped with this yet? I'm thinking that instead of needing to plug my phone in for music that I could buy a large flash drive and have it plugged in there, but I'm not sure if the cup holder door will close. Something like this, which is the shortest flash drive I can find.

My '17 640 ix Vert has it. (The USB port not the rest of the M6 features).
I don't think you'd be able to close the cover with anything plugged in.

I why not just transfer all your music from Usb to the internal hard drive on the car.

I spent some time looking around today on realoem and I can't find the part at all sorry. You'd need a change to the wiring loom as well so I suspect it might coincide with the new update to idrive with the 6 squares for the first part of the menu (as seen at 10:50 or so in that video)
