Very nice indeed!

Is the spoiler permanently attached now?

Those are the 408M 19 inch wheel aren't they, with Pirellis? How does it drive in the snow, we haven't had any here yet.

I have an issue with my 601M wheels, I'll post here when it's resolved.

Thanks....

Spoiler is on permanent now. I am very happy with the decision.

Correct on the wheels and tires - Had the same wheels/tires on my '13 M5 and they worked well. On the m6, i have not been happy. I think the m6 is much less capable of handling snow. Proven to be more challenging than i expected. Not sure if i blame the tires or the car....

Your '13 being a 6 series? My expectation is that the DSG gearbox will be much less controllable and more jerky in the snow, and that is not good. To counteract that, the M differential should be a positive factor. Do you use D or manual mode?

it was the '13 F10 m5 (14 months old). same drivetrain - actually exactly the same wheels as i didnt trade them in with the m5. I would have thought handling would be the same but it seems this car does not handle the snow anywhere near as well. Even contemplating getting a winter 4 wheel drive for bad days....

Beauty...regarding the winter tires / wheels, the reg GC rides on diff diameter wheels/tires than the M6 GC doesnt it? Maybe thats why not as good in snow

Sorry about lack of clarity - my prior car was an F10 2013 M5. That's my comparison.

That's very strange, the only possible reason would be weight distribution, maybe putting something heavy in the trunk (a suitcase full of books, crates of beer ...) would help.

The M5 wheels have a different offset than the M6 wheels...I dont know if that would cause lack of traction in winter but worth noting...The wheels look the same but rear wheels have different offsets

Very strange..... Let me know resolution. Mine are in storage at dealer so I will not bother to look until march/April when close to putting them back on.

Also, strange issue with my nav screen came up last week. A line of interference at the bottom. New screen on order.....

Have you ever had the iDrive reset on you? The screen blanks out and then says 'Starting Navigation'?

I've had it twice, once just when I first connected my iPhone, a second time just out of the blue while driving. The first time was before the running in service so I reported it, not reported the 2nd time yet.
