Cool newbie to the forum

Evening gents from the uk.
just thought I'd introduce myself.
Had the car nearly 4 years from new, but only just found the forum recently and had trouble getting the account verified..!! anyhow I am finally here now..
The car is a white 640d, F13. M sport.
2013 model.
Its basically my wifes daily commute with around 43k on the clock now..its not been as cherished as some of you guys would like to think it was!! its been her run around and weekend car for me for the last 4 years and has its fair share of female abuse... I am doing her an injustice really. its ok for 4 years old..but a few issues need some TLC..
We are not changing it anytime soon, due to us knowing its full history and its just too good and not worth moving on yet..so its here for a while. hence me liking Marks servicing post. even though its due 1 more BMW service which will just fall due before 50,000 miles..
issues so far have been knocking drivers seat base... Not fully sorted. but it will be by me.
corroded roof rail strip replaced, but new one corroding very slightly again.
drivers side seat belt rattle from within the door post. trim replaced by bmw.
Thats it. Nothing drastic.
The car was bought to replace an E class coupe. and it surpasses it by far... although cost wise from new it is in a different league..
other than that a beautiful top class motor that I really do like.
cheers for now ladies and gents.
regds,
Al.

Welcome from the UK too.

Good to see more people from the UK... It's a quiet place and more sophisticated / calmer than the f30 forum.. I will now get crucified by that comment from F30!!

Smile

My van is the other car.....that's half the trick..
She has always liked sports cars and is definitely a poser, so she's never gonna be seen dead driving a white vw transporter...!!!
Count your lucky stars though.... You may need to order yourself a new front lh wheel, cus its gonna get damaged, although my wife is getting better as time goes on.... Bless her.....only took her 4 years with this car to perfect the parking routine...
She also like racing blokes in 5 series 520d's who often give her the eye...
Then laughs as they can't keep up...it's a power over men thing..!!
Seriously she loves it... And so do I ... It's the best car I have ever owned and will probably ever own...the only way for me and her now, is possibly with a Porsche caymen S... Depending on her job, And that will be that..
Job done...
I have saved the 1 litre Nissan micra for my retirement planning in case I can't drive very well by that stage..
