2013 BMW M6 w/ HRE Wheels, Akrapovic Exhaust, H&R Springs & more from GMP Performance

For this BMW M6, the first goal was sound. Our customer wanted a deep, aggressive sound that would mirror the power and appearance of the M6. With the addition of an Akrapovic Evolution exhaust, that was easily achieved. Their Evolution Titanium system would not only give the sound notes we were aiming for but also be significantly lighter while boosting power and torque and increasing responsiveness. Then it was time for a whole lot of pop. Starting with HRE Wheels and Michelin Pilot Super Sports, we touched on everything from reflectors, black grills, pedals, and new emblems. We finished over with H&R lowering springs, for the ultimate in sleek appearances.

Parts Installed:
BMW F12/F13 M6 Evolution Line Exhaust System (Titanium) by Akrapovic

Wow those wheels are horrendous - probably the worst I've seen on these forums.

Thank you for your opinion!

With the massive amount of wheel options we have available, I am sure we could find something that would be less offensive to you.

I was thinking of a nicer way to put it but I agree - maybe not the worst I've seen but there are definitely some better options out there… Everything else looks cool tho

What about the wheels don't you like?

Finish? Style? Fitment?

Didn't mean to be rude - I guess I could have said it a different way. The wheel just has so much going on - and it appears to be 20". I only think black/monoblock wheels work for the 20" on the M6 since the wheel well is so large. The multi-piece fitment of the 20" makes the wheel look much smaller than it really is.

It is a 21 and busy with the black rim. Otherwise solid and high quality. I have a 20 inch of the same wheel but a brushed clear rim and it makes it less busy

Nice wheel!!

Yes, the gloss black outer lip on these wheels can blend in with the tires in these pictures, which takes away a little from the style. We should have professional photo shoot images available soon which really show the detail.

The wheels pictured are 21" wheels.

I think that's the problem here, a black lip with a lighter face doesn't usually look that great in pictures. As said the lip blends with the tire and makes the wheel look a lot smaller than it is. I have to admit I'm not a fan of it IRL either but pictures does make it worse.

That's the issue. Of course, wheels are a personal preference item, so we are happy if our clients are happy

No matter that color they are, the S101 is an amazing wheel.
