Auto heating door mirrors

Hi guys I have had my 2011 640d coupé for 3 months now and today there was some fog and the door mirrors were misted up like all the windows. I drove for 45min with on sign of mirrors demisting they were still cold to the touch and considering my 335i mirrors demisted with in 5min has any one else found a problem with the door mirror demisting time?

The door mirrors should demist within 5 minutes or so. Ocassionally i have found that if the mirrors are not clean (light film of oil / grease / dirt) the water droplets hold longer so perhaps its worth cleaning the mirrors and seeing what happens the next time you have fog.

Its perhaps just a fuse that needs replacing.

I will try cleaning mirrors with a solvent to remove any grease although I clean the car every week so they should be pretty clean, I though it my be a fuse but there is no inflammation in the hand box about the fuse box or which fuse do what, does any one know were to get the lay out of fuse box on the 640d coupé?

The fuse layout is folded up inside the fuse box in the boot (right side).

If it's an F13, you have two. Check behind the trim panel in the boot.

Decided to book it in under warranty to get it shorted as fuses look ok.
